JEEP WRANGLER JT
The Gladiator (JT) shares its front end with the JL Wrangler but rides on a longer wheelbase with a bed and a higher payload rating — so JL parts bolt up front, while rear suspension, driveline, and frame-length parts are Gladiator-specific.
Fitment
Every Gladiator runs Dana 44 axles front and rear; Rubicon adds factory lockers and an electronic sway-bar disconnect. The rear is coil-sprung but tuned for payload and towing, so added weight — bumpers, tire carriers, campers — changes the rear spring setup you want. The longer wheelbase also affects which skids and exhaust parts clear.
Before you buy
A 2–2.5" lift clears 35s and is the common starting point; 37s means more lift, fender work, and regearing. The coil-sprung front means death-wobble prevention still applies — track bar, steering stabilizer, alignment. If you tow or haul, tell us; it changes the rear spring choice.
