Ram 1500 Lift Kits and Suspension

The Ram 1500 rides on coil springs at all four corners, and some came with factory air suspension. Those two trucks don't take the same parts. Tell us which one you have before you order anything.

Ram 2500 & 3500 Suspension

Heavy-duty Rams are a different animal. A solid front axle, a lot of weight, and most of them tow. Lift height alone means nothing if the spring rate, shock valving, and steering geometry are wrong.

The rear matters too. 2014 and newer 2500s run coil springs in the rear. The 3500 runs leaf springs. They don't take the same kit.

We set these trucks up around the work they do. How much you tow. What rides in the bed. How much highway versus dirt. Then we match the suspension to that, using Carli, Thuren, AEV, BDS, and ICON, with track bars, radius arms, and steering stabilizers so it drives straight.

Ram Lift Kit Questions

What's the best suspension for a Ram 2500 that tows?

It depends on the weight. Tell us what you tow and what rides in the bed and we'll match springs, shocks, and airbags to it. Carli and Thuren are our go-to systems for these trucks.

Can you lift a Ram 1500 with factory air suspension?

Yes, but it takes parts made for the air system. A kit for a coil-spring truck won't work.

What size tires fit a Ram 2500?

35s fit most 2500s at leveled height. 37s usually take around 3 inches of lift and the right wheel. Tell us your year and wheel and we'll tell you what fits before you buy anything.

Do you install spacer leveling kits?

No. A spacer adds height on the factory springs and shocks. The shocks run out of travel and the ride gets worse. We level trucks with springs and shocks matched to each other.

Will a lift kit void my Ram warranty?

Not the whole warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a dealer has to show the aftermarket part caused the failure before denying a claim. Our warranty guide covers the details.
