LEXUS LX450

The Lexus LX450 (1996–1997) is an 80 Series Land Cruiser under a Lexus badge — solid axles front and rear, coil-sprung, and one of the most revered overlanding platforms ever built.

Fitment

It shares the 80 Series Land Cruiser platform — solid front and rear axles make it a straightforward, highly capable lift candidate. Confirm 80 Series fitment when ordering. Factory lockers on some, and the reliable 1FZ-FE inline-six up front.

Before you buy

A 2–4" lift clears 33–35s and is the classic setup; solid axles keep it simple. As with any coil-sprung solid-axle rig, a good track bar, steering stabilizer, and alignment matter. Watch backspacing.
