Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Gilbert, AZ

Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Gilbert, AZ

Gilbert Bronco Raptor owners live a short hop up Power Road from our Mesa shop — usually 10 to 20 minutes door to door. Yours already left the factory with the HOSS 4.0 system, FOX Live Valve internal-bypass dampers, 37s and a widened track, so the smart move isn't a lift — it's building on that platform correctly. We dial in bigger tires, gearing, armor and FOX service so the truck that hauls the family around Gilbert on weekdays is ready for a Beeline run to Sycamore Creek or Bulldog Canyon on Saturday.

Bronco Raptor Builds for How Gilbert Drives

The Bronco Raptor is a different animal from a standard Bronco, and it deserves a different plan. Ford already gave it the HOSS 4.0 suspension with FOX Live Valve 3.1 semi-active internal-bypass dampers, 37-inch tires, a widened track and beefier Dana axles — roughly a foot of travel straight off the truck. That means the last thing it needs is a lift or a spacer to sit taller. On a truck like this, adding height fights the geometry Ford engineered and throws off the Live Valve system. So we leave the front geometry and factory UCAs alone and build on the strengths that are already there.

For a Gilbert owner, that usually looks like a daily-driver-friendly setup that still punches hard on the weekend. Plenty of Raptors here spend the week doing school runs and grocery hauls around Val Vista and the Heritage District, then point east on the Beeline (SR-87) toward Sycamore Creek, or run the graded roads into Bulldog Canyon and the Superstition foothills. We fit 37s (or carefully step toward ~40s where the known clearance and load limits allow), re-gear the axles so those bigger tires don't kill throttle response or the transmission, add bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates for the rocks out past Apache Junction, wire up proper lighting for pre-dawn trailheads, and tune the truck to wake it back up. And because those FOX Live Valve dampers eventually need attention, we handle rebuild and re-valve service in-house — we're an authorized FOX installer, so your Raptor's ride quality stays factory-sharp for the long haul.

What We Install

Suspension & FOX Service

No lift needed — we preserve the HOSS 4.0 geometry and keep the front UCAs stock. What we do is rebuild and re-valve the factory FOX Live Valve 3.1 dampers so they stay sharp, and tune the setup around bigger tires and added weight.

Wheels & Tires

Step from the factory 37s to a purpose-built 37 (or carefully toward ~40s within the known limits) on wheels with the right offset for the Raptor's wide track — sized so it clears without hacking up the truck.

Armor & Bumpers

Front and rear bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates built for the granite in Bulldog Canyon and the Superstitions — protection that matches how a Gilbert Raptor actually gets used.

Lighting

Ditch lights, light bars and pods wired clean for early Beeline departures and low-light trail runs into Tonto National Forest.

Overland Setups

Roof racks, bed and cargo storage, recovery gear and drawer systems for owners turning the Raptor into a weekend basecamp rig.

Re-Gearing & Alignment

Axle re-gearing so 37s or 40s pull like stock, plus a proper alignment included on every install — the Raptor drives home tracking straight.

Bronco Raptor FAQ — Gilbert, AZ

Does my Bronco Raptor even need a lift?

No. The Bronco Raptor ships with the HOSS 4.0 suspension, FOX Live Valve dampers, 37s and a widened track — it already has huge travel and ride height. Lifting it fights that engineering and upsets the Live Valve system. The real gains come from tires, gearing, armor and FOX service, not added height.

Can I fit 40s on it?

It comes on 37s from the factory, and many owners stay there for the best all-around performance. You can carefully step toward ~40s, but that opens up clearance, load and gearing considerations we'll walk you through so it's done right rather than just crammed on.

Do I need to re-gear for bigger tires?

Usually yes once you go past the factory 37s. Taller, heavier tires change the effective gearing and dull throttle response and towing. Re-gearing the axles brings the truck back to how it should feel and protects the drivetrain.

Can you service the factory FOX Live Valve shocks?

Yes. We're an authorized FOX installer, so we rebuild and re-valve the Bronco Raptor's Live Valve 3.1 internal-bypass dampers right here in Mesa — no shipping the truck across the country to keep the ride factory-fresh.

How far is your shop from Gilbert?

We're at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa, near Power & Baseline — a straight shot up Power Road from Gilbert, typically 10 to 20 minutes depending on where you are in town.

Is an alignment included?

Every install we do includes an alignment — and we never use spacer lifts. Your Raptor leaves tracking straight and set up the way it should be.
