Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Scottsdale, AZ
Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Scottsdale, AZ
Your Bronco Raptor left the factory with the HOSS 4.0 system, FOX Live Valve 3.1 internal-bypass dampers, 37s and widened Dana axles — it is already one of the most capable rigs ever sold. For Scottsdale owners, the question isn't "how do I lift it," it's "how do I build on top of what Ford already engineered without breaking the geometry that makes it work." That's exactly the kind of build Underdog Motorsports gets right.
We're a quick run south down the Loop 101 from Scottsdale — roughly 25 to 35 minutes to our shop at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa. Whether your Raptor spends its weekends crawling the McDowell Mountains, running north-desert two-tracks past the 101, or just turning heads in Old Town, we'll help you add tires, armor, gearing and tuning the right way.

Bronco Raptor Builds for How Scottsdale Drives
Scottsdale owners tend to buy the best and expect it to stay that way, and the Bronco Raptor rewards that mindset. The factory HOSS 4.0 suspension with FOX Live Valve 3.1 semi-active internal-bypass dampers already delivers huge wheel travel, and the truck ships on 37s over a widened track with beefed-up Dana axles. That means a Raptor isn't a leveling-kit or lift-kit candidate like a standard Bronco — touching the front geometry or throwing on UCAs usually fights the engineering instead of helping it. The smart money goes into what the platform is actually asking for.
For the McDowell Mountain trails, the rocky north-desert two-tracks off the 101, and the occasional weekend push out toward the high country, the upgrades that matter are bigger meats (staying on 37s, or carefully stepping to ~40s with the known steering, gearing and clearance trade-offs), re-gearing so the EcoBoost and transmission aren't fighting the taller tire, real armor — bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates to protect that expensive underbody — lighting for pre-dawn starts, tuning, and eventually FOX rebuild and re-valve service once the factory dampers have earned their miles. We keep the front geometry and UCAs stock on purpose, and we finish every job with a proper alignment. No spacer lifts, ever.
What We Install on Scottsdale Bronco Raptors
Suspension & FOX Service
The HOSS 4.0 with FOX Live Valve 3.1 is already dialed, so we focus on keeping it that way — rebuilds, re-valving and tuning the factory internal-bypass dampers rather than replacing a system Ford spent a fortune engineering.
Wheels & Tires
Staying on 37s for the sharpest handling, or carefully stepping toward ~40s with the clearance, steering and gearing trade-offs spelled out before we touch anything. Beadlock-capable wheels available.
Armor & Bumpers
Front and rear bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates to protect the Raptor's wide track and underbody on McDowell and north-desert rock — function first, and it looks the part in Old Town too.
Lighting
Ditch lights, light bars, pods and chase lighting wired clean for pre-dawn trail starts and dark runs back from the high country.
Overland Setups
Roof racks, bed and storage solutions, recovery gear and drawer systems for Scottsdale owners who turn a weekend into a loaded overland run.
Re-Gearing & Alignment
Axle re-gearing to match bigger tires so power delivery and MPG stay right, plus a precision alignment included on every build — non-negotiable on a truck this capable.
Scottsdale Bronco Raptor FAQ
How far is your shop from Scottsdale?
About 25 to 35 minutes. Most Scottsdale owners drop straight down the Loop 101 to the Power Road area in Mesa — an easy run, and worth it for a shop that actually knows the Raptor platform.
Does my Bronco Raptor even need a lift?
No. The Raptor already has the HOSS 4.0 suspension, FOX Live Valve 3.1 dampers, 37s and a widened track from the factory. We don't lift it — we build on it with tires, gearing, armor, lighting and FOX service.
Can I run 40-inch tires?
Carefully, yes — but 37s keep the Raptor at its sharpest. If you want to step toward ~40s we'll walk you through the steering, gearing and clearance trade-offs first so there are no surprises.
Do I need to re-gear for bigger tires?
If you go taller than the factory 37s, yes. Re-gearing keeps the twin-turbo EcoBoost and transmission from working too hard and protects your drivability and fuel economy. We handle it in-house.
Can you service my factory FOX dampers?
Absolutely. We're an authorized FOX installer, so we rebuild and re-valve the Live Valve 3.1 system to keep it performing for McDowell rock and north-desert washboard once the miles add up.
Is an alignment included?
Every build we do finishes with a proper alignment — and we never use spacer lifts. On a truck as dialed as the Raptor, correct geometry and alignment are everything.
