Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Tempe, AZ
Ford Bronco Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Tempe, AZ
Your Bronco Raptor already left the factory as a desert machine — HOSS 4.0 suspension, FOX Live Valve dampers, 37s and widened Dana axles. From Tempe it's a straight 15–20 minute shot up the US-60 to our Mesa shop, where we treat the BR for what it is: not a truck that needs a lift, but a platform that deserves bigger tires, real armor and expert FOX service to keep that factory travel working.
We're the shop ASU-area owners and daily-driven BR drivers trust to push the platform correctly — no spacer lifts, ever, and an alignment on every job.

Bronco Raptor Builds for How Tempe Drives
Tempe runs young and busy — ASU commutes, Mill Avenue nights, a quick blast down to the South Mountain trails when the weekend opens up. A lot of Bronco Raptors here are daily drivers first and weekend toys second, and that's exactly the balance the BR was engineered for. The factory HOSS 4.0 system with FOX Live Valve 3.1 internal-bypass semi-active dampers already soaks up the US-60 expansion joints and the washboard out past the edge of the valley without a single aftermarket part. That's why we don't start a Bronco Raptor conversation with "how many inches." On this platform, lifting it or swapping UCAs usually fights the geometry Ford spent a fortune getting right.
What actually moves the needle for a Tempe BR is tires, protection and keeping those dampers healthy. The Raptor ships on 37s and a widened track with Dana axles, so there's real room to run a more aggressive 37 — or step carefully toward ~40s while respecting the known clearance and gearing limits — then re-gear so the bigger meats don't kill throttle response in stop-and-go Tempe traffic or on the highway. Add bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates for South Mountain's rock gardens, dial in lighting for pre-dawn runs, and get the FOX internals rebuilt and re-valved on schedule so the Live Valve system keeps doing its job. That's the honest Bronco Raptor playbook, and it's a completely different build than a base Bronco lift.
What We Install on Tempe Bronco Raptors
Suspension & FOX Service
We keep the HOSS 4.0 geometry stock and focus on what helps: FOX Live Valve 3.1 rebuilds, re-valving and tuning so your factory long-travel system performs like new — no lift, no spacers, no fighting the Raptor's engineering.
Wheels & Tires
Aggressive 37s to replace the worn factory set, or a careful step toward ~40s within the BR's real clearance and offset limits — mounted, balanced and matched to how you actually drive around Tempe.
Armor & Bumpers
Bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates built for the Superstition-edge and South Mountain rock gardens — protecting the axles, frame and those pricey Live Valve shocks when the trail turns ugly.
Lighting
Ditch lights, light bars and pods wired cleanly for pre-dawn desert runs and late drives back into town — no hack jobs under the dash.
Overland Setups
Roof racks, storage, recovery gear and bed/cargo solutions for owners who turn the BR into a weekend basecamp rig out past the valley.
Re-Gearing & Alignment
Axle re-gearing so bigger tires don't sap performance or fuel economy, plus a precision alignment included on every job to protect your tires and steering.
Tempe Bronco Raptor FAQ
Does my Bronco Raptor even need a lift?
Almost never. The BR already has the HOSS 4.0 system, FOX Live Valve dampers, 37s and a widened track from the factory. Lifting it usually works against the geometry Ford engineered. The real upgrades are tires, armor, lighting and keeping the FOX internals serviced.
How big can I go on tires?
You can run a more aggressive set of 37s easily, and some owners step carefully toward ~40s. Once you go bigger we'll talk clearance, offset and re-gearing so the truck still drives right. We'll give you the honest limits for your exact setup.
Can you service my FOX Live Valve shocks?
Yes. We're an authorized FOX installer and service center. We rebuild and re-valve the Live Valve 3.1 internal-bypass dampers so your factory long-travel suspension keeps performing instead of slowly wearing out.
Should I keep the stock UCAs and front geometry?
On the Bronco Raptor, yes — we keep the front geometry and upper control arms stock. The BR isn't a bolt-on-lift platform like a base Bronco; the smart money goes into tires, protection and tuning.
How far is the shop from Tempe?
About 15–20 minutes. Hop on the US-60 east and you're at our shop at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa, near Power & Baseline. Easy run before or after work or ASU.
Do you include an alignment?
Every single time. An alignment is included on every install we do — it protects your tires and keeps the Raptor tracking straight on the highway and the trail.
