Ford F-150 Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Apache Junction, AZ

Ford F-150 Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Apache Junction, AZ

Apache Junction sits right at the mouth of the Superstitions, so a Raptor out here earns its keep — Bulldog Canyon, Woodbury Trail and the Hackberry/Tortilla stuff off the Apache Trail are practically in your backyard. The thing is, a Gen 2 or Gen 3 Raptor (and the Raptor R) already leaves the factory as a long-travel desert truck, so the smart move usually isn't a "lift" at all — it's tires, gearing, armor and keeping those FOX dampers fresh. From AJ you're only about 15–20 minutes down US 60 to our shop at Power & Baseline.

Ford F-150 Raptor Builds for How Apache Junction Drives

Most trucks that come through our bay need help getting ready for the desert. The Raptor is the opposite — it shows up already built for it. Gen 3 trucks run FOX Live Valve 3.1 internal-bypass dampers with a genuine 5-link coil rear and a Panhard bar, the 37 Performance Package puts 37s on from the factory, and the Raptor R adds the supercharged 5.2L V8 (and a good bit more nose weight). That's roughly a foot of usable travel before you touch anything. So when an Apache Junction owner tells us they want to "lift" their Raptor, our first job is usually to talk them out of wrecking the geometry Ford spent real money engineering for Bulldog Canyon washes and the whoops out past Woodbury.

What actually makes a Raptor better out here is bolting on the stuff the trails chew up and keeping the hardware honest. Stepping to 37s (if you're not already on the Performance Package) or carefully bigger wants a re-gear so the EcoBoost — or the R's V8 — isn't hunting for ratios on the climb up to Hackberry. The fast, rocky two-tracks past the Tonto National Forest line reward real skid plates, rock sliders and a front bumper that clears approach angle instead of hanging up. And because those Live Valve shocks are doing all the work at Superstition speeds, they wear — so we also handle FOX rebuilds, re-valves and service so your truck feels like it did the day you drove it off the lot. Every job leaves with a proper alignment, and we never run spacer lifts on a truck like this.

What We Install on Your Raptor

Suspension & FOX Service

No spacers and no cheap "leveling" nonsense on a long-travel truck. We service, rebuild and re-valve the factory FOX Live Valve dampers, tune ride height within safe limits, and keep the 5-link coil rear and Panhard geometry correct.

Wheels & Tires

37s done right — or a careful step up with the clearance and offset checked — mounted, balanced and matched to a Raptor's beadlock-capable wheels and the sharp rock out toward Woodbury and Hackberry.

Armor & Bumpers

Skid plates, rock sliders and front/rear bumpers that protect the EcoBoost or the R's V8 without killing the approach and departure angles that make the Raptor so good in the Superstitions.

Lighting

Ditch lights, light bars and chase/rear lighting wired clean for pre-dawn starts up the Apache Trail and late runs back down Bulldog Canyon.

Overland Setups

Bed racks, molle panels, drawers, air and recovery gear for weekend trips into Tonto National Forest — built so your Raptor still does Monday-morning freeway duty.

Re-Gearing & Alignment

Bigger tires mean a proper axle re-gear so the truck pulls right, plus a dialed alignment included on every install — no guessing, no eyeballing.

Apache Junction Raptor FAQ

Should I lift my F-150 Raptor?

Usually no. The Raptor already has long-travel FOX suspension and a 5-link coil rear from the factory, so adding a traditional lift often hurts the geometry and ride it was built with. We focus on tires, gearing, armor, lighting and keeping those shocks serviced.

Can you put 37s on a Raptor that didn't come with the Performance Package?

Yes. If you don't already have the 37 Performance Package we can fit 37s and check fitment, offset and clearance, then re-gear so the EcoBoost or Raptor R V8 drives the way it should on the climbs out past Hackberry.

Do you service the factory FOX Live Valve shocks?

We do — we're an authorized FOX installer. High-speed desert running out of Apache Junction wears those dampers, so we rebuild, re-valve and service them to keep the truck controlled and planted.

Does the Raptor R get the same work?

Mostly yes. The R shares the long-travel platform but carries more weight up front with the supercharged 5.2L V8, so we're extra careful with tire and armor choices and gearing to match the way it accelerates.

How far is your shop from Apache Junction?

About 15–20 minutes. Hop on US-60 west and we're at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa, right by Power & Baseline — an easy run before or after a day in the Superstitions.

Is an alignment included?

Always. Every install we do — tires, armor, gearing or suspension service — leaves with a proper alignment. And we never use spacer lifts, period.
