Ford F-150 Raptor Lift Kit Installation in Scottsdale, AZ

Scottsdale already builds premium, and the F-150 Raptor is about as premium as a factory off-road truck gets — which is exactly why it deserves a shop that won't cut corners on it. From north Scottsdale it's a straight run down the Loop 101 to the 202 and over to our Power Road shop, roughly 25–35 minutes depending on where you start.

Here's the honest part most places won't tell you: your Raptor doesn't need a lift. It left the factory with more suspension travel than almost anything we lift. What it needs is the right next step — bigger tires done correctly, re-gearing, armor, and FOX service — and that's the work we do.

F-150 Raptor Builds for How Scottsdale Drives

A Scottsdale Raptor lives two lives. Monday through Friday it's a clean daily driver on the 101 and Scottsdale Road; on a free weekend it's pointed at the McDowell Mountains, the north-desert trails out past Pinnacle Peak, the washes toward Rio Verde and Fort McDowell, or the longer haul up Bartlett Lake Road and out to Four Peaks. The Raptor is built for exactly that mix — the question is what you add without undoing what Ford got right.

That factory suspension is the whole story. The Raptor runs a five-link coil rear with a Panhard bar and FOX Live Valve dampers — on the Gen 3 truck those are 3.1 internal-bypass units that read the terrain and adjust in real time — and it's one of the few trucks that already has long-travel geometry from the showroom floor. The Raptor R adds the supercharged 5.2L V8, which puts more weight over the nose and changes how you spec tires and gearing. So this isn't a leveling-kit truck like a standard F-150 (that's the leaf-rear build we do on a different page). On a Raptor the smart money goes to 37s done right — if you don't already have the 37 Performance Package — re-gearing so those tires don't gut your throttle response and towing, armor for the desert, lighting, a tune, and keeping those FOX internal-bypass dampers fresh with a rebuild and re-valve when the miles add up. Leave the front geometry alone and spend where it actually makes the truck better.

What We Install on a Scottsdale Raptor

Suspension & FOX Service

Your Raptor's long-travel FOX Live Valve setup stays — we don't lift it. We service, rebuild and re-valve the internal-bypass dampers so they perform like new for the next desert season.

Wheels & Tires

Step up to true 37s (or dial in the 37 Performance Package fitment) with the right offset and load rating for the Raptor's width — no rub, no guesswork.

Armor & Bumpers

Bumpers, rock sliders and skid plates sized for the Raptor so the north-desert rocks past Rio Verde and Bartlett don't find your underside.

Lighting

Ditch lights, bumper bars and chase/rear lighting wired clean for late runs back from Four Peaks and the McDowells after dark.

Overland Setups

Bed racks, storage, air and recovery gear for owners who turn weekend trail runs into real overland trips out of the north valley.

Re-Gearing & Alignment

Re-gearing to restore power and MPG after bigger tires, plus a precision alignment included with the work — dialed for how your Raptor actually sits.

Scottsdale F-150 Raptor FAQ

Does my Raptor even need a lift?

No — and we'll tell you that straight. The Raptor already has long-travel FOX suspension from the factory. The high-value work is 37s done correctly, re-gearing, armor, lighting and FOX service, not a lift that would only hurt a truck Ford already set up right.

Can you fit 37s if I don't have the 37 Package?

Yes. We fit true 37s on Raptors that came on 35s, matching offset, load rating and clearance so they clear at full travel — then re-gear so your throttle and tow response come back.

Do you service the factory FOX Live Valve shocks?

We do. Those internal-bypass dampers are rebuildable — we rebuild and re-valve them so your Raptor rides like it did new instead of fading after a few hard desert seasons.

Is the Raptor R any different to build?

Mainly in the details. The supercharged 5.2L V8 adds nose weight, so we factor that into tire and gearing choices. The suspension approach is the same: keep it, service it, build around it.

How far is the shop from Scottsdale?

About 25–35 minutes. From north Scottsdale you'll take the Loop 101 south to the 202, then over to our shop at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa. It's an easy highway run and worth it for a shop that knows these trucks.

Will this void my factory warranty?

Quality tires, armor, lighting and FOX service don't void your warranty, and because we don't lift the truck or alter its core geometry, we keep your Raptor's engineering intact. We're happy to walk you through what we recommend and why.
