Jeep Gladiator Lift Kit Installation in Apache Junction, AZ

Jeep Gladiator Lift Kit Installation in Apache Junction, AZ

Apache Junction is the gateway to the Superstitions — the town where the pavement runs out and the Tonto National Forest begins. If your Gladiator is pointed at Bulldog Canyon, Woodbury, or the Hackberry/Martinez trails on the weekend, you already know this is the most demanding dirt in the Valley. We're a straight 15–20 minute run west on the US-60 at Power & Baseline, and we build Gladiators to survive it.

38+ years of off-road builds, every install matched front-to-rear and aligned before it leaves the shop — and never a spacer lift.

Gladiator Builds for How Apache Junction Drives

No town in the East Valley uses a truck harder than Apache Junction. This is the doorstep of the Superstition Wilderness and Tonto National Forest — Bulldog Canyon, Hackberry, Woodbury, and the climb up toward Woodbury are rocky, ledgy, high-consequence trails, not smooth desert two-track. A Gladiator out here isn't a mall crawler; it's getting flexed over rock shelves, aired down for miles of washboard, and loaded with recovery gear and a cooler for the day. That's the truck we build for.

The Gladiator has the best bones for it: solid axles front and rear, coil-sprung all the way around with a 5-link rear, which is why it articulates the way it does and takes a lift so cleanly. The trade-off is its length — that long wheelbase gives it a great ride and stability but a bigger breakover angle to manage on ledges, so tire size and geometry matter more than on a Wrangler. We spec coil and shock packages from ICON, FOX, Bilstein, OME and King tuned to your JT's weight and how you actually wheel, open up clearance for 35s or 37s, and — the step a lot of shops skip — talk re-gearing honestly, because big tires on the factory gears will gut your low-end and your fuel economy on the highway run home. Done right, your Gladiator flexes through Bulldog Canyon and still drives straight down the 60 the next morning.

What We Install on Your Gladiator

Suspension & Lift

Coil-sprung lift packages built for the JT's solid axles from ICON, FOX, Bilstein, OME and King — matched springs, shocks and control arms tuned to your weight and trail use. No spacers, ever.

Wheels & Tires

Load-rated 35s or 37s with the right backspacing to clear and flex, plus re-gearing so the Gladiator's drivetrain isn't fighting the bigger meats up Woodbury or on the highway.

Armor & Bumpers

Rock rails, skid plates, and steel front and rear bumpers — the protection a Gladiator actually needs on the ledges at Bulldog Canyon and Hackberry.

Lighting

Light bars, pods and ditch lights wired clean for pre-dawn Superstition trailhead starts and the run back down the mountain after dark.

Overland Setups

Bed racks, rooftop tents, drawers, and on-board air — the Gladiator's bed makes it a natural for overland trips into the Tonto National Forest.

Alignment

A full alignment is included on every Gladiator install, dialed to your new ride height so the long-wheelbase JT tracks straight and wears its tires evenly.

Apache Junction Gladiator Lift FAQ

How far is your shop from Apache Junction?

We're at 1845 S Power Rd in Mesa, near Power & Baseline — about 15–20 minutes from Apache Junction straight west on the US-60. You're one of the closest trail towns to us, and closest of anyone to Bulldog Canyon and the Superstitions.

What size tires can my Gladiator fit?

With the right coil lift most Gladiators run 35s comfortably, and 37s with added height and fender clearance. On a JT we'll almost always talk re-gearing with 37s so you don't lose your low-end crawling or your highway drivability.

Do I really need to re-gear for bigger tires?

On 37s, usually yes — and often on heavy 35s too. The Gladiator's weight and long wheelbase make it feel sluggish on tall tires with factory gears. Re-gearing restores the power and keeps the trans out of constant hunting on the 60.

Is the Gladiator good for hardcore Superstition trails?

Very — solid axles front and rear and coil suspension give it huge articulation. The one thing to respect is its length on steep ledges (breakover), which we account for with the right lift height, tire size and armor for Bulldog Canyon and Woodbury.

Is an alignment really included?

Every install leaves with a full alignment set to your new ride height — not an upsell, just part of doing the job right so your Gladiator drives straight home.

Will a lift ruin the Gladiator's on-road ride?

Not when it's matched. We tune the coils and shocks to your real weight and use, so the JT still rides and tows well on the US-60 and around Apache Junction while gaining real trail capability.
